I've seen that you have created a few gameshark codes for Goldeneye Rogue Agent - If you recall when the game was being released, some press outlets claimed there was a mode with "Bots", called "E.V.I.L. AI Skirmish" - for example, see these links:
"Instead, a skirmish against the E.V.I.L. AI bots in multiplayer maps will be provided ("scrimmage" mode)." - www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/gaming_gra_preview_ea.php3
"Senior Producer Chris Plummer explained the idea to MI6 back in October, "We're supporting the E.V.I.L AI in offline play rather than designing a new bot system... What we've done is set up a skirmish mode where you play against the E.V.I.L AI, it's a little different to bots because our E.V.I.L AI does things that bots don't do - like using cover. When you think about bots they usually run around as fast as they can, which is sort of what the player does honestly, but we've found it more fun playing against the AI rather than just bots. So that's the way we're approaching that one. You won't be playing with players and AI in sort of a death match though for example. So it's specifically for skirmish mode"." - mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/gaming_gra_gamethatneverwas.php3
"the lack of a frequently-touted ‘Scrimmage’ mode that would have effectively served as a player vs. bots option for the game’s multiplayer levels." - www.badgamehalloffame.com/goldeneye-rogue-agent/
I was wondering if you could find anything in the PS2 or GC versions of the game that could perhaps turn on bots, or if this was just false advertising.
There are bots in the DS version of the game, so perhaps EA was just being vague with the features in order to get a few more copies of the game sold. It would be so cool if there was some remnant of this left that could be turned on, even if it didn't work.
